It’s hard to believe that in June, we will have been in Guatemala for 3 years! Covid changed so much for so many ministries, but for us it allowed God to expand what He’s doing in San Lorenzo. Over 30 babies and over 50 pregnant women have entered into the programs we offer. They’re most importantly being discipled and very clearly hearing the Gospel every time they step in through the clinic doors. They’re receiving high quality healthcare and having access to private practice doctors (along with Kelly) for the first time ever.
We’ve seen miracle after miracle happen. 25 homes have been built. Babies are being revived. Women are giving birth to healthy babies and receiving follow up care. Community is happening. It’s been incredible to be a small part of it all!
Now, as we look forward to what’s next, we will further cement ourselves in San Lorenzo. Our next steps are to become a registered national organization and hire Guatemalan staff. Our desire from the beginning was for this to not be a, “Americans come in and save the day thing”, but for it to be a sustainable ministry that would employee and empower Guatemalans to serve Guatemalans.
To make all of this (and more happen)…
We’re coming to Kentucky for 2 fundraisers for our nonprofit!
